As you can see in the first few pops I had a really ugly hotspot. I thought about what could be done to solve this nasty little problem for a while when it suddenly hit me. The zoom on the flash! Since I only my flash in manual mode, I had forgot the zoom head at 105mm wich made kind of a “light hole” straight through the fabric. Not cool at all!
After pulling the flash out of the softbox and flipping down the built-in diffusor the difference was awesome.
